... revealed to The Sun in 2017 that this wasn't her real name either!
She told the Murdoch tabloid that she was born Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield, on 22 May 1978. Her biological father left home when she was four years old (which would have been in 1982 or 1983). Her mother married Paul Price in 1988, and Katrina (around ten years old by this time) decided to take on his last name as her own. She took the first name Katie at the start of her modelling career in 1996, but became Jordan a couple of months later.
The Sun doesn't make it clear whether Infield was her mother's surname or her father's – or indeed if they were ever married. It also fails to mention whether or not Katrina was adopted by Mr. Price, which would have made it perfectly natural for her to take his surname.
